The real reason you always choose the bad boy

Hi Reader

I want to talk about something I see constantly in my work with women, and something I think most of us are too uncomfortable to say out loud.

We don't choose unavailable men because we love drama. We choose them because on some level, we don't believe we deserve anything better.

The good guy shows up - and we run. The toxic one hurts us - and we stay. And we tell ourselves it's about chemistry, or bad luck, or that all the good men are taken.

But that's not what's really going on.

In my latest blog post I get into the real reason this happens, what's underneath it, and most importantly what it looks like to actually start changing it.

I think this one will resonate. Give it a read when you have a quiet moment.

With Love,

Randi

Inside, I’ll be sharing weekly reflections, tools, and...

Randi Corrigan middle school yearbook photo. The girl this article is about I had a rough weekend. The kind where getting out of bed feels impossible, your phone becomes a lifeline, and the harshest voice in your head won't stop screaming at you to get up and do something. I'm a therapist. I know better. And I still couldn't stop it. So I did what I do? I got curious. I started asking that voice where she came from. She took me all the way back to a condo I grew up in. My mother's addiction....

Hi Reader Wow. I am so excited by how many of you have reached out already, hearing how much you’re enjoying the Self-Worth Reset Workbook genuinely warms my heart. Knowing I’ve reached so many lovely women, all learning to love themselves a little harder, is exactly what this was supposed to be about. Isn’t that what life should be all about? Here’s the thing though - it looks like some of you never actually got your hands on the workbook itself. It might’ve gotten buried, lost in a...
