The Confessions Women Don't Say Out Loud

Hi [First Name],

I want to tell you about something I've been building quietly.

It's called “I Thought I Was the Only One” — an anonymous storytelling movement for women. Every week, real women share the things they've never said out loud: about relationships, motherhood, grief, healing, career, identity, and everything in between. No names. No identifying details. Just truth.

Here's the belief behind it: shame grows in silence. It convinces us we're the only one who's ever felt a certain way, thought a certain thing, made a certain choice. But the moment we realize we're not alone in it, shame starts to lose its grip.

This isn't a replacement for therapy, and it's not meant to be — think of it as a first step. A place to put something into words, anonymously, before you're ready to say it out loud to anyone.

I'd love for you to read the first stories — and if you have one of your own, I'd be honored to hold space for it.

You were never the only one.

With love,
Randi

I Saw My Abuser Last Week I saw my abuser last week. In the town where I rebuilt my life — across state lines, where I finally found the inner peace and healthy love I had always dreamed of. My partner and I had gone out to dinner on a whim. We normally stay in on weeknights. We'd both had busy, stressful days, so we ended up at his favorite restaurant here in Norwalk. What were the chances that, the moment we crossed the street, I would notice him sitting at an outdoor table across from us?...

Hi Reader , I’ve been wanting to create something more than a newsletter - a real space for connection, support, and honest conversation. So I started a free Facebook community: Worthy & Whole: A Community for Women Rebuilding Self-Worth This is for women who are done chasing people who can’t meet them halfway, ready to rebuild their sense of self-worth, or quietly wondering if it’s time to leave a relationship that isn’t serving them. Inside, I’ll be sharing weekly reflections, tools, and...

Randi Corrigan middle school yearbook photo. The girl this article is about I had a rough weekend. The kind where getting out of bed feels impossible, your phone becomes a lifeline, and the harshest voice in your head won't stop screaming at you to get up and do something. I'm a therapist. I know better. And I still couldn't stop it. So I did what I do? I got curious. I started asking that voice where she came from. She took me all the way back to a condo I grew up in. My mother's addiction....
